Fellowship Director at The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts. Former posts have been Executive Director at the Nottingham Playhouse, Producer (Mobile Touring) at the Royal National Theatre and Chair of the East Midlands Cultural Consortium. She has been awarded the prestigious Asian Woman of Achievement Award for her contribution to the Arts and Culture.
She has made an active contribution to: Profile Nottingham; Business in the Community; Arts & Business; the Greater Nottingham TEC’s Equality Task Force; the Creative Industries Export Promotions Advisory Group; the European Theatre Forum and the Power Enquiry. In 2005 she presented a paper at the European Cultural Parliament on Cultural Leadership.
She is a Trustee of the Theatres Trust, a Governor of Guildford Conservatoire, a Council Member of Loughborough University, a Member of the Institute of Ideas and a member of the London 2012 Culture Committee. Activity has included performing, writing, lecturing, casting and producing.
